SCHOOL ASSEMBLYSchool Assembly is held every Monday & Friday (Class-wise) and Wednesday(House-wise) for the High School and every Tuesday and Thursday for the JuniorSchool, also on important days and other occasions.THE SCHOOL UNIFORMOn all school days (Except Wednesday) and for all functions, field trips, class picnics andother outings, every student should wear the prescribed school uniform.On Wednesdays every student (Except XI and XII) should come in prescribed sportsuniform. (T-shirt / track shorts / track pants / skirts)A student who comes to class without the prescribed school uniform must bring a noteof excuse in his/her school diary from his/her parents /guardian or else he/she is liableto be sent home. (Excuse will not be accepted more than once in each term).Students need to be neatly groomed with tucked shirts and a neat hair cut (for boys) andtwo braids (for girls)THE SCHOOL DIARY1. The school diary provides the parents and students with necessary information andguidelines, which would enable them to help in the smooth and systematicfunctioning of the school. Hence it requires careful reading and adherence.2. Every pupil must possess a copy of the school diary, which should be brought toschool everyday. Apart from entering legibly the name and other personal details,pupils should not write anything except school - related work/information.3. The school diary must be preserved carefully, and no page from it should be removed,defaced or smudged.4. Pupils must show the diary to their parents / guardian whenever notes are given bythe Principal/Headmistress or Teachers and obtain their counter signature. Similarlyentries by parents/ guardians should also be shown to the Principal/HM or Teachers.5. Parents are expected to look into their child’s school diary every day.6. If a pupil loses the diary, he/she will be subjected to disciplinary action. A fine ofRs.100/- will be levied and a new diary must be purchased immediately.7. Circulars and time tables are issued to apprise the parents of scholastic activities.Hence, due attention must be paid to them.8. Specific pages are alloted in the diary for various purposes such as leave request,recording absences and uniform related matters. Parents are requested to utilisethese pages whenever necessary.The outpass record in page No 52 must be duly filled and signed by the parents,clearly stating the reason for the student’s need to leave the school premises duringinstructional hours. After taking the consent signature of the respective ClassTeacher, the out pass will be verified by the staff incharge. Only then will thestudent be permitted to go home.43
